Yoga
The yoga lineage in which I received my first formal training is Kriya Yoga. It is a tradition of action and service, and I am forever grateful that I walked into those studio doors in December 2009, steps that were no doubt led by mysterious, intelligent, and ever-so-kind-and-sometimes-tough-love forces we refer to as God, the Universe, Source.
As a yoga teacher, I bring a sensitivity to the needs of the individual or class, and tailor the session accordingly in the moment. I also bring myself, with all its imperfect realness, weird humor, and occasional profanity.
I hold the 200 RYT certification with Yoga Alliance, and I am also certified in Meditation, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Teens, Yoga for All, and am currently at work on the 500 RYT designation.

I teach classes at Uttara Yoga Studio. I also lead private and group classes, which may take the form as an individual session or a custom-designed series.
