Astrology

I am trained in Ancient Astrology, sometimes called Hellenistic or Traditional. It is an elegant, complex, and nuanced system that resonates deeply with me.

A word about my approach. The photograph on the right speaks to a line from the ancient text The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, "That which is above is like to that which is below, and that which is below is like to that which is above,” I belong to the school of thought that sees the cosmos as reflective, not causative, of our experience. And we, in turn, reflect back, inextricably connected. When we are able to see the systems at work, graphically displayed in a two-dimensional chart, we are able to better understand the parts of our lives and our psyche in play. We begin to see the patterns we’ve felt our entire lives, often below the level of awareness. By bringing awareness to these patterns, as well as how they are woven into the ever-shifting cosmic tides, we can begin to change those habits and attitudes we feel no longer serve us.

Offerings

I offer Natal Readings, which is a snapshot of YOU reflected in the skies at the exact moment and place you were born. For our reading, I bring to bear various ancient techniques, from solar returns to progressed moon phases, to help you understand why you do the things you do, or think the thoughts you think, or why relationships, whether familial or karmic, are so wildly wonderful or so impossibly difficult. We can meet by Zoom or in person, if you are local to Roanoke, Virginia.

Pricing

$75/hour. You will receive a video recording of our reading, as well as digital images of the charts we discuss. For each person you refer who does a reading with me, you will receive a $25 voucher for your subsequent readings.*
